Yes, kudzu is VERY much a weed. It is basically eating great parts of the American South. I'm sure the prompter was thinking of *it* as the monster when she wrote the prompt. But my mind went straight to cats for some strange reason. Kudzu festivals are very tongue-in-cheek. I guess we figure we might as well have some fun with the stuff since we're stuck with it.
